Last night Lucey? with us even? down to ? She wanted me to try on my dress. She has it nearly finished. It is very pretty and she is such a lovely hand to sew. I think they took Hatch? away yesterday. Cook told geo. thanks. Drs. said he was crazy. Thanks tho (sic.) You can imagine. Would be a good thing all around. I am sure. I am cleaning the south side of the kitchen today. I am working in cupboard under the stairs now. I mean when I am not writing to you. Art has discharged his carpenters all but Mr. Turner.
