Miller Park. 1876. B&W print photo, 8.5" x5", on a paperboard backing, showing a large audience seated on benches in early Miller Park. Date on back says c.1876. The photographer's identifying information is covered by paper which was taped on with a description [as noted below]. Smaller Duplicate on file; notation below. Notation on back: In the front row I see/ Dr. Hurlbut at the corner/ of the platform, and Frank/ Beard 4th from him to the / right, wearing a cap./ THall/ You are looking up/ Vincent - then Hedding/ Miller Park/ Meeting Place. Audience facing/ the spectator stand/+ the lake c. 1876 Also has several stamps from the library, etc. Duplicate Notation: Auditorium Audience in Miller/ Park.
