Glen Park Cafeteria. 1928. B&W postcard, 3 1/2 x 5 1/2" showing Glen Park Cottage and Cafeteria at 8 Morris Ave. The signs read: "Glen Park Cafeteria" and "Desirable Rooms." Date of Stamp and Postmark: July 16, 1928. The Message: Mrs. Edith Kinttner? R.D.1 Clarendon Pennslyvania My dear Mrs. Kinttner, I hope this card may find you well and enjoying this fine summer weather. I am at Chautauqua at present and will be here for six weeks of summer school. I like [it] here very much. In the first place I came here with the intentions of staying just few days-but I decided to stay and take some college work. Next week will be music week and wish you could come for a day. It would be fun. Love to you, Louise Escobar? |
