Devers and Bell Landing at Athletic Field. 1946. B&W print photo, 7 3/4 x 9 1/2", showing the arrival of two helicopters at the Athletic Field. The helicopters are bringing General Jacob L. Devers (to deliver Independence Day Address) and President Lawrence D. Bell. The individuals are not clealy visible, only the exteriors of the two helicopters. (See also image of General Devers standing oustide the helicopter, 2006.02.09.e) July 4, 1946. Notation on back: 75446. After delivering General Jacob L. Devers, Commanding General of Army Ground Forces, from Buffalo, with President Lawrence D.
