First Edison Incandescent Lights, Miller Park. c.1886. B&W Print Photo, 4 x 5" card frame, featuring an image of the first incandescent lights in Miller Park. Notation on front: First Edison Incandecent Lights, Miller Park, 1879 Clipping on back: R10wb Lights Bixby, Willard Genealogy of Bixby Family. Lewis Bixby brought electric light equipment to Chautauqua at request of Lewis Miller in 1882-3 and started light plant in 1900. CAH 1879 Page 2 Electric light Light 1874 Scrap Book #1-page 2.The grounds are lighted by fires built on boxes filled with earth and elevated 8 feet.
