Lookout Arbor at Chautauqua. c.1878. Stereo View on 7"x4" card frame, showing a large group gatehred at Lookout Arbor, near the gazebo and smaller rustic structure. A single woman is idientified as Eleanor W. Drake, and a long passage is written by an unidentified woman [Drake?] on the reverse. Notation on back: Visited this delightful place, August 1st 1881. Staying untill the 9th. Had a much enjoyable and profitable time while there. Heard an adress on prohibition from Miss "Ellen Foster of Iowa." Splendid! Tuesday evening Aug. 2 attended the opening of the Sunday School Assembly. Dr. Vincent gave an address of welcome to all present but especially to those that I will name, Lewis Miller, Esq. of Akron, O. Rev. J.L. Hurlbut of Plainsfield, N.J. Rev.
