Girls Club. 1907. B&W postcard, 3 1/2 x 5 1/2" showing a group of girls from Girls Club posing for group portrait in lawn in front of Girls Clubhouse. George H. Monroe, photographer? Date of Stamp and Postmark: Aug. 26, 1907. The Message: Miss Helen Martha Peacy Farmersville Station, NY Dear Little Daughter, Here are some Chautauqua girls enjoying their work outdoors. Perhaps some day when you have grown older you may be one of them. I am writing this in the amphitheater where I expect to wait an hour and a half for the governor. Late dinner at Ms. Sturgis' ? & ? and her mother were so busy waiting on the table that I had no chance to ask about "He o dore"? Do you remember Ralph, the ? boy who used to sell papers. I just had quite a visit with him. He enquired all about you, Mama, and Nan. You will have to tell Mama all I have said for I am not going to write her this time.
