Choir of Chautauqua S.S. Assembly -- 1878. 1878. Stereo View on 7"x4" card frame, showing a large group of men and women seated and standing up to the peak of Mount Hermon at Palestine Park. They are identified as the Assembly choir. William F. Sherwin and C. C. Case are seated at the far left and both are holding their hats. An early tent cottage is clearly visible on the right. Notation from at least three distinct periods appears on the reverse, with one statement possibly from the original photographer.
