Description |
Folding Fan. Thin wood and paper, white with blue letters. Inscription reads: "Compliments of Rashid's Oriental Store, Chautauqua, NY." Purple and white flowers painted on fan when unfolded with gilded edge. Before 1950. Rashid's went outof business at the end of 1949 after 47th year. Rashid's was located in Pier Building until (20's?) then moved to where Hultquist Center is now. |
