Description |
A wooden record keeping device (16 inches wide, 15 1/2 inches high and 1 1/2 inches deep) used by the Boys' and Girls' Club of the Chautauqua Institution. This device, likely used during the 1960's or 1950's, was used to determine which children were in the water and which children were not on the waterfront. This item is made primarily out of wood and metal hooks and is in a dilapidated state. A picture of this item in use can be found in the book Chautauqua Boys' and Girls' Club Celebrating Out History as the Oldest Daycamp in the Nation on page 10. |
