Hansel and Gretel Puzzle. 6.25" x 7". Puzzle showing Hansel and Gretel holding hands in the foreground while a yellow figure (presumably the witch) stands behind them. In the background, a building labeled "Candy Cottage" can be seen. The puzzle consists of 16 pieces. A paper envelope the puzzle came with is included. Writing on the front of the envelope states: "Complements of The Harter Publishing Company, / Cleveland, Ohio / The books and puzzles listed / on the back of this envelope / are on display and sale at / The Chautauqua Book Store / Chautauqua, New York" The back of the envelope has several lists entitled Books, Poster Sets, Games, Paper Doll, Shadow Plays, Puzzles, Books and Puzzles. |
